How LinkedIn markets itself on LinkedIn.

We opened the feed and counted everything. The posts, the people, the timing — and the system B2B teams can copy.

[What's inside]

01

55.8% of company-page posts were video

43 of 77 posts. Video is part of the weekly workflow, not a launch-only format — and it was not always the best performer.

02

80.5% published between 6 a.m. and noon Pacific

Thursday was the busiest company-page day; 8 a.m. was the single most common hour. Friday was second-busiest — so much for avoiding Fridays.

03

Median 388 reactions vs. 1,051 average

A handful of breakout posts distort the average. Track the median, then study the outliers separately.

04

The biggest posts were about people, not product

A Dolly Parton quote (20,430 visible engagements) beat the Collaborative Posts launch (1,852) by more than 10x.

05

Employees peak on Tuesday, the page peaks on Thursday

134 original employee posts across 16 voices. Company and people publishing follow different rhythms on purpose.

The report also includes the full method, the 16 mapped voices and what each of them owns, the four-layer publishing model, six things your team can copy, and a ten-question check to see whether your content is a system or a set of isolated posts.
