[Case study · Free · Public sources only]
What Harvey's LinkedIn presence shows.
12 people studied. 5 post types. 10 top posts. An independent public-data breakdown of the founders, marketers, content team, creative leads, and partnership posts around Harvey.
Harvey is one of the clearest examples in B2B software of a company whose people, rather than its brand account, carry the story. We wanted to know what that actually looks like in public, so we studied it the only honest way available to an outsider: by reading what everyone posted.
Twelve people. Five recurring post types. Ten posts that clearly outperformed the rest. Everything in the case study comes from public LinkedIn activity — no internal data, no interviews, no guesses about strategy documents we have not seen.
What's inside the case study
- The twelve public profiles we studied: founders, marketers, the content team, creative leads, and the people posting about partnerships.
- Five post types that appear again and again, with what each one is doing for the company.
- Ten top-performing posts, broken down by format, opening line, and the kind of proof they carry.
- How the roles divide the work — who posts opinion, who posts product, who posts customers, and who posts hiring.
- What an early-stage team can copy with two people instead of twelve.
The pattern worth noticing
The posts that travel are not campaign posts. They are people describing work: a problem a customer had, a decision the team made, a detail of the product that took longer than expected. The company voice shows up mostly to amplify.
The second pattern is distribution of load. No single account carries the presence. A spread of people posting at a modest rate produces more surface area, and more credibility, than one heroic founder account posting daily.
What you can apply this week
- Pick two or three people, not ten. Coverage beats volume, but only if the cadence is sustainable.
- Assign post types rather than topics. Give one person product detail, one person customer stories, one person point of view.
- Write from work that already happened. The strongest posts in the set are reports, not opinions invented for the feed.
- Let the company page follow the people, not the other way round.
Method and limits
We reviewed public LinkedIn posts from the profiles listed in the study and grouped them by format and subject. Performance comparisons use visible public engagement only, which is a rough proxy — it tells you what travelled, not what converted. We have no relationship with Harvey and no access to their analytics. Read it as an outside observation of a public presence, because that is exactly what it is.
[Questions people ask]
Is this affiliated with Harvey?
No. It is an independent study built entirely from public LinkedIn activity, with no involvement from the company.
What data did you use?
Public posts from twelve public profiles, plus visible public engagement on those posts. No internal metrics, no scraped private data.
Why LinkedIn only?
That is where this particular presence lives, and it is where B2B software buyers are most reachable. The structure would transfer to other platforms, but the evidence in this study would not.
